My name is Joshua Beard, and I'm an artist based out of the fine city of Columbia, SC. I am a photographer, a designer, insomniac, and notorious peanutbutter fanatic. I have been educated in Raleigh, NC and Columbia, SC, and currently hold BA in Media Photography as well as a Certification in Digital Arts & Design.

While I began primarily in events/journalism, I don't confine myself into a specific genre of photography. I am a jack of all trades photographer and I always have something to suit your time-freezing needs, whether it be promotional shots for your band, portfolio shots for your modeling/acting career, memoirs of your wedding/special event, or simply portraits so you can look back and realize how cheeky you really were back then.

I hold myself and my work to a high standard of not only the best quality, but originality. You are not a customer, but a partner in creating individual works of art, and should expect no less from your photographer. If you are a band, do not expect to get the cliché "bust-length arms folded standing in a field" look, and you aspiring models/actors won't get the painful 1980's "jacket over the shoulder" shots. I don't use canned poses and no two pieces I do are ever the same.

Your shoot is custom to what we plan to create. It will be original; it will be creative; and it will be art.
