Josh makes photographs. sometimes people even give him money afterwards. It's a complicated relationship.

Holding a design degree from The School of Communication Arts, a photography degree from The University of South Carolina, and a biscuit recipe from the school of hard knox, Joshua shoots a wide variety of images, including: advertising, creative portraiture, editorial, live events, and fine art. He has had work published throughout the US and Asia.

While he is originally based in Columbia, SC, he is curently working out of Beijing, China. Using both film and digital, he works to find diverse and undiscovered concepts, with a heavy emphasis on client/photographer collaboration, which has even lead to live jazz playing via inner-city Vespa. He doesn't believe in such things as the unreachable location or the overly-obscure idea.

He also tries to refrain from talking in the third person.
